Dark stories for winter nights

Plays for dark nights & scripts that will spook audiences!

As it’s Halloween we are looking at all things Spooky!

Delighted that Kilcullen youth are performing The Black Eyes over the next few nights and this play will be visited again next year by another Irish youth group.

Our friends at the national Irish youth association have put the script on their reading list… well done Ireland!

This time last year a performance of the Ghost Crib was produced at Widnes by Woollywood Theatre, but this makes a haunting night at anytime of year so how about a wintertime production for 2019. It’s a great festival piece running at about 45mins.

Another dark play for winter nights is Room no 5 a weird psychological black drama which will keep the audience guessing.

If you prefer a more romantic and dramatic piece, When The Dark Sea Cries is the story of a fishing village on the night of a terrible storm when the 8 female cast tell their own stories plus a visiting doctor who saves the day and rescue a young boy.

Another dark but true story is that of Derek Bentley who was hung for the murder of a policeman . Bentley: road to justice looks at his sisters fight for justice. a docudrama for a large cast.
Apart from the black Eyes all the plays are licenced to www.stagescripts.com where you can download a copy or check out Amazon some are still there for limited period. The Black Eyes licence is held by us here at bevclarkplays. #drama #theatre
