The first half of 2025 has been quite a busy time. First ‘THE BLACK EYES’ had three performance in Scotland by the wonderful Killen Drama group – 3 different venues so thanks to them for continuing to support my plays. My most performed play BAGGAGE has had three performances by Woodford Players of Stockport -one of which was at the Cheshire Drama Festival in March, where they were runners-up and awarded the Adujudicator’s Award for the teamwork of the two actors. Well Done to them! They will now perform it again on 14th June at GMDF which takes place in Macclesfield. ( update! they won)
Another update. RIP MR SHAKESPEARE on 29th June was performed in Ireland at the Donaghmore Workhouse Museum

My new play THE DAUGHTERS is in first draft and I am looking for a group or school that can develop it – 10 identifying females in this dystopian story of identity and Love.
Poetry: Dark Poets Club published one of my poems on line ‘Return of the Black Dog‘ and TA Saunders new anthology Shadows in the Mist includes my poem IF – This is available on Amazon. Still awaiting the publication of ‘The Roles we play’ an anthology by WOW which should have been published last year but due to some delays they are now saying it will be sometime 2025. Four of my poems are in this anthology which showcases Wirral writers. ‘ In September a new online publication by LILOMUL have selected another of my poems ‘Unison’ so look out for that.Also in September 2 poems in The Zest Of The Lemon magazine.
